Why do Liberals hate life?

I just read a comment on a “Progressive” blog, in which the blogger expressed a desire to see U.S. politicians killed on their trip to Iraq. This is not the first time I have read such a remark from a “Progressive,” and I am rather disconcerted. The bloggers goes by the name of “rockyroad,” here is what was said:

“Maybe if a couple of these political tourists got blown up by an IED, reality would come home.”

I do not understand this way of thinking at all, but it is a sad reality in America today. Liberals are so divisive when it comes to American politics that they wish death upon conservative politicians.

Here is a link to the blog. Please let me know if you think I am misinterpreting the message, it is horrible to think that we live in the same country as people with this attitude.

Interesting that you completely ignore all the other hate-filled messages. Could it be that they are posted by those who blindly follow your preferred political bias?

Why didn’t you ask about why right-whiners hate Democrats?
“The lone Demoncrat, however, fared much more pitifully as he crapped his pants, promised to convert to Islam, and then fainted the rest of the trip.”

Why didn’t you ask about why right-whiners blame everything on liberals?
“The attack was probably initiated by a liberal from TP!”

No, the question you ask on TP is “Why do you hate America, Jesus, God, Humanity, Goodness, Kindness, Love, and Decency?” It’s the current administration that hates the US Constitution and the freedoms that so many have died for to bring all citizens. It’s you that forgets what Jesus lived and died for, and you express no humanity, goodness or kindness in your calumny that you spew at ThinkProgress.

I proudly served my country so that citizens, like you, can enjoy the rights that haven”t been trampled upon by the current administration. Oh, my pardon, am I currently in a “free spech” zone, or will I have to go somewhere else to express my first amendment?

I love America. And democracy. And life. That’s why I support a speedy withdrawal from Iraq – so we can preserve all of these things.

    Democrat Soldier,
    The quotes from conservatives:

“The lone Demoncrat, however, fared much more pitifully as he crapped his pants, promised to convert to Islam, and then fainted the rest of the trip.”

    and

“The attack was probably initiated by a liberal from TP!”

are obviously humor. But even if they weren’t, neither of those examples express a desire to see American government officials killed. Now, some may consider converting to Islam a fate worse than death, but that can not be determined from the above quote.

Free speech is one thing, but it appears as if “rockyroad” actually wants to see dead American politicians.

I feel the same way! In the words of Hillary Clinton:

“Every nation has to either be with us, or against us. Those who harbor terrorists, or who finance them, are going to pay a price.”

So as soon as those in Iraq, who are harboring and financing terrorists, pay the price, I too support a speedy withdrawal from Iraq.

And it’s best to… you know… just sit around in Iraq, having our solidiers killed, waiting for someone to show up and ‘pay the price?’ Is there, literally, some Muslim wandering around with a bag of money marked ‘PRICE TO PAY TO AMERICA’ who is hiding from us? How is the most powerful army on the planet unable to exact this price?

Maybe that metaphorical bag really isn’t somewhere in Iraq. Since no threat to America existed before the 2003 invasion, it makes me wonder just what price we are trying to extract. It couldn’t be to lower the price of gas, since it was, on average, $1.50/gallon when Bush too office. So… you know… whenever you get around to it… I’d love to know what price needs to be paid, and how justice is being served by our occupation of this country.

    Stephen,

The point is, the extreme Left is cheering for the death of U.S. politicians in Iraq. Meanwhile, the rest of America (even Hillary Clinton) knows that the terrorists and the people who fund terrorists need to be stopped. This is way rockyroad’s comment is so horrible and monstrous!
