Chuck Hagel ends his political career, retiring from the Senate and not running for President.
“Sen. Chuck Hagel is set to announce Monday that he is retiring from the Senate and that he won’t join the race for the White House in 2008, the Omaha World-Herald newspaper reported on its Web site Friday night, citing “people close” to the Republican from Nebraska.”

What did you think of Senator Bagel, Mr. President?

Also, Umar deleted that post from his anti-American blog. He said, get this, somebody hacked into it! What a dork. He needs a haircut and shave.
Hagel’s retirement opens the door for Attorney General Jon Bruning to take the seat (like he wasn’t already). Unlike Hagel, he fully supports the global war on terror.
Hagel was alright. Besides being such a loud asshole against the war in the Iraq, he was pretty conservative.
Chuck is one of the FEW Repubs that I would have voted for.
Well, looks like you’ll have to vote for a Republican now, not a Repub.
Hagel was getting a bit delusional in his old age, it’s good for his health and that of the country that he retiring.
