According to a Gallup Poll Americans are unsure of the proper way to keep Iran in check. While the overwhelming majority (73%) of Americans feel that The United States should stick with economic sanctions for the time being, 18% say that military action is called for.
But, if sanctions and diplomacy are not enough to neutralize the Iranian threat, the poll found that 46%
say that military action is needed, while a mere 45% say no to the use of force altogether. We will see what they say as more information comes out about the Islamic Republic of Iran’s sinister nuclear ambitions.
Iran has so far refused to heed United Nations demands to halt nuclear work that has both civilian and military uses. Three of four Americans polled said they were concerned the United States “will not do enough to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons,”
