Congress is screwing around again, and this time they’re setting up Israel and the President of the United States. We recently learned that the very same Dems who bitch and moan about waterboarding have, in fact, known for a while now exactly what was being done. So now Congress is pandering to the far-left crazies in order to earn back some of their Bush-bashing cred. 

Remember that swift, effective air-strike on September 6th, in which Israel may or may not have taken out a Syrian nuclear facility? Well, it’s funny that in a bill that would ban waterboarding and other enhanced interrogation techniques, as well as perform other functions, Congress would include the following:

(AP) The House of Representatives on Thursday approved an intelligence bill that bans the Central Intelligence Agency from using waterboarding, mock executions and other harsh interrogation methods.

The 222-199 vote sent the measure to the Senate, which still must act before it can go to President Bush. The White House has threatened a veto.

The bill, a House-Senate compromise to authorize intelligence operations in 2008, also blocks spending 70 percent of the intelligence budget until the House and Senate intelligence committees are briefed on Israel’s Sept. 6 air strike on an alleged nuclear site in Syria.

Now, with a condition like that, it should come as no surprise when this bill is vetoed. However, this act will provide the anti-Semitic, Palestinian terror-supporting Left with plenty of Jew-hatred and Bush-bashing material. For it won’t take a.c.e. aka plunger long to realize that:
