Here is a clip of Fox’s America’s Pulse with the intelligent and beautiful E. D. Hill. Ms. Hill replays some of the audio coming from the Iranians as they tried to provoke three U.S. Navy ships. She then speaks with Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA) who happens to be a retired Vice Admiral. Hill makes some good points, but the U.S. Navy showed superior restraint, conditioning, and military expertise in not annihilating the Iranians in one fell swoop.

Of course, the left doesn’t believe the evil, EVIL, EVIL American war-machine, as these updates from HotAir reveal:
Update: To no one’s surprise, HuffPoster doesn’t buy the US version of the Straits incident. But if you ask him, I’m sure he supports the military. Well, he supports a military.
Update: Mike Goldfarb also takes a look a that HuffPoster’s piffle. I think we can all agree that a record producer’s word ought to carry more weight on a military matter than the Pentagon or a retired admiral. Right?
Update: Very interesting military analysis here. He makes a very good point about being lulled toward complacency by actions
Oh, the left… Why am I not surprised to hear the defense of Iran? Scum.
Oh, and, Iran… don’t fool around.

The Leftists and Troofers are out in full force taking Iran’s side.
On the Leftists sites, they’re saying Cheney was trying to ochestrate a war.
It’s really sick!
Here’s Think Progress gloating over dead Americans.

Who’s gloating? What I see is a bunch of people being pissed off.
I’ve heard it said by various Naval veterans that this sort of thing goes on all the time.
Now, for the conspiracy theory. The only reason that this became a story, was because the Decider was traveling to Israel.
Nothing but a diversion.
