I can tell you one thing i’m not affraid of no muslim, but if the muslim is here the legal way then he can stay. If not all the muslims can go right across the boarder with the mexicans. I support a segmented approach to deal with illegal immigration:
1. Detaining criminals. Those illegal immigrants convicted of 3 misdemeanors/1 felony or wanted for any non-immigration related crime should be taken into custody, processed and deported if found guilty. Those illegals stealing identities to obtain work, etc. should also be considered criminals.
2. Crack down on employers. I don’t support mass firings of illegals, but employed persons in the United States need to be on the books as earning at least the minimum wage and paying their fair share of taxes. Prevent any further illegal hiring.
3. Immediately seal off the borders. This sounds redundant, but sealing off the borders may actually bring more Americans to embrace giving existing illegals here a shot at citizenship, and they’d possibly feel assured that the problem won’t again occur.
Why seal the borders? I understand securing them, but not allowing legal migration doesn’t make sense.
