Just the other day we were hearing about thousands of migrant workers on strike turning violent and 200+ car pile-ups!
Guess where Forbes is hosting its women business leaders conference. UAE. At least Forbes doesn’t openly shill for the terrorist like the economist but I wonder how they are going explain to women business leaders the fact they have to wear a birka.

We had 400 years to become a large, industrially-advanced nation. They’re trying to do it in a few decades.

To the best of my knowledge, the UAE does not require tourists to wear burkhas.

I know what they are doing, with their outlandish architecture and highways and what have you, and I wish them the best. I just think that they need to set out with a better design before implimenting plans to become a large, industial nation.
Either that, or slow down and do things gradually, like we did.

If nothing else, they should give some serious thought to somehow obtaining a population.
