I actual like the new word press. It doesn’t mess up my formating. The spam filter needs some tweaking. I wish there was a way to opt out of upgrading until you are ready. I guess that is why people have there own hosting.
BTW vodpod and youtubes html links work great for me. Whats your problem? I would shoot wordpress and email and see if they can fix your issue.

I wanted to upload the video of Randi Rhodes after it was pulled from YouTube, but I can’t. Instead I had to upload and host it through VodPod, then I used the ‘post to wordpress’ thing to embed it in a post.
Vod Pod took about three times as long as it would have to upload the video.

Konservo, I feel your pain…LOL
I can’t even download the new WordPress and I’ve never been able to post any videos on the one I’ve got….Grrr
It doesn’t help that I’ve lost contact with my webmaster who set me up under his name. :-/

Unfortunately, Aurora, I had to pay for a space upgrade in order to host videos myself on wordpress. An advantage of this is that I won’t have to worry about the video being pulled off of YouTube or LiveLeak due to copyright issues (I think) since I don’t have ads.
