¡Viva la (Islamist) Revolución!

Flag of IranThat’s right. The Islamofascistic revolution is still alive and strong in The Islamic Republic of Iran. From Bored Melo:

From BBC News

Iran arrests Bahai ‘leadership’
The Iranian authorities have acknowledged the arrest of a number of members of the Bahai faith, which is considered to be heretical in Iran.

Tolerance.

Anyway, check out what one of the commenters at Bored Melo was saying:

  1. Just a question - where are the Baha’i headquarters? The answer will shed light on many things. I’ll give you a hint - America’s ‘friend’
  2. If you can’t figure that one out then, well, try to ponder over it with an open mind. For example, say there was this crazy jihadist group of Muslims in America who were rightfully persecuted by the government and fled America for Taliban camps in Afghanistan. What would you think about them - that they just happened to go to the Taliban because they would feel safe there or that they were connected with each other since the beginning?Again think about it with an open mind. Picture the story being told on FoxNews (probably your favorite news source).

Jeez… this whole “blame it on the Zionist Jews” thing is getting a little old, don’t you think?

Mr. “abunakhli” is suggesting that since Baha’is have a holy site in Israel, they therefore, are in cahoots with the Zionist pigs. And as we all know, there’s nothing worse than a Zionist. Zionists eat Arab children, drink Muslim blood and grind Muslim bones to make bread… right?

According to far too many European, Arab and Persian Muslims, yes.

We were in the Holy Land before Israel was even a vague notion in Herzl’s mind.

The IRI has been preparing for a crackdown for a long time.

    Yá Musakkinu’l-Aríáḥ!

iirc, that’s all part of the Zionists’ master plan.

NO I’m not saying that since they have a holy site. Having a holy site in such an area would not be bad - Muslims also have holy sites in Israel. What is bad is having their international headquarters there - this does show that they are in cahoots as you say.

Our international headquarters was irrevocably established there in the late 19th century, long before the Jews started migrating there in large numbers. It’s location there was divinely ordained by the Tablet of Carmel.

In any case, Bahá’ís have a religious obligation to be loyal to the government. Treason is not just a crime, it is a sin. In the Epistle to the Son of the Wolf (pp. 122-3), regarding events reminiscent of those in recent times, it is written:

O S̲h̲ayk̲h̲! While hemmed in by tribulations this Wronged One is occupied in setting down these words. On every side the flame of oppression and tyranny can be discerned. On the one hand, tidings have reached Us that Our loved ones have been arrested in the land of Ṭá (Ṭihrán) and this notwithstanding that the sun, and the moon, and the land, and the sea all testify that this people are adorned with the adornment of fidelity, and have clung and will cling to naught except that which can ensure the exaltation of the government, and the maintenance of order within the nation, and the tranquillity of the people.

O S̲h̲ayk̲h̲! We have time and again stated that for a number of years We have extended Our aid unto His Majesty the S̲h̲áh. For years no untoward incident hath occurred in Persia. The reins of the stirrers of sedition among various sects were held firmly in the grasp of power. None hath transgressed his limits. By God! This people have never been, nor are they now, inclined to mischief. Their hearts are illumined with the light of the fear of God, and adorned with the adornment of His love. Their concern hath ever been and now is for the betterment of the world. Their purpose is to obliterate differences, and quench the flame of hatred and enmity, so that the whole earth may come to be viewed as one country.

On the other hand, the officials of the Persian Embassy in the Great City (Constantinople) are energetically and assiduously seeking to exterminate these wronged ones. They desire one thing, and God desireth another. Consider now what hath befallen the trusted ones of God in every land. At one time they have been accused of theft and larceny; at another they have been calumniated in a manner without parallel in this world. Answer thou fairly. What could be the results and consequences, in foreign countries, of the accusation of theft brought by the Persian Embassy against its own subjects? If this Wronged One was ashamed, it was not because of the humiliation it brought this servant, but rather because of the shame of its becoming known to the Ambassadors of foreign countries how incompetent and lacking in understanding are several eminent officials of the Persian Embassy.
