New Progressive Propaganda “Book” Club

I was in a Borders book store the other day and I was outraged to see books like Adam Smith’s The Wealth of Nations on the shelf next to George Soros’ propaganda books. There I also saw works by F.A. Hayek next to Ariana Huffington’s Right is Wrong.

Disgusting.

That said, I’m not surprised that John Podesta of The Center for American Progress, David Brock of Media Matters, Laura Dawn of MoveOn.org, Markos Alberto Moulitsas Zúniga of The Daily Kos, Erica Jong of HuffPo, and an assortment of other vicious Left-wing propagandists have banded together to start a “book” club.

However, according to MSNBC the “book” club’s founder, Elizabeth Wagley says

“Most of our books aren’t going to be about how Republicans are turkeys”

Oh, so I suppose that Huff’s “Right is Wrong” won’t be offered… right?

According to a June 16 press release:

Progressive Book Club offers members the chance to give back with their book purchases. More than two dozen of the country’s leading progressive organizations have signed on as Alliance Partners to help extend the Club’s reach and mobilize the broader community, including Campaign for America’s Future, Center for American Progress, Kos Media, Media Matters for America, Mother Jones, The Nation and the Service Employees International Union. With nearly every book purchase by its members, Progressive Book Club will donate $2 to support a progressive organization of the member’s choosing dealing with such issues as environmental stewardship, public education, domestic violence and media reform.

So if you buy the Progressive propaganda from the “book” club, not only does the “book” club make a sale, but you can opt to donate money directly to the left-wing propaganda organizations which started the “book” club.

Marx, Lenin and Stalin would be proud.
