Obama’s Take on Globalization and Economics

Cafe Hayek has a short and oh so sweet post on Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama’s take on globalization, economics and workers:

According to today’s Wall Street Journal, Barack Obama alleges that “Globalization and technology and automation all weaken the position of workers.”  If this presidential wannabe is correct, then some of the world’s most prosperous workers must be the people in that newly discovered tribe in Brazil — persons with absolutely no contact with the global economy or with modern technology.

Read the whole post here. It’s good.

Nah, it’s just a little reductio ad absurdum. Funny, though, right?

Well I’m not a fan of Globalization and Free Trade. Obama is right on this it has depressed the wages of Americans.
If only more on the Right realized this we can neutralize the Left on this. Globalization leads to loss of Economic Sovereignty. Loss of Economic Sovereignty leads to a loss of National Sovereignty. As a Rightwinger I beleieve in National Sovereignty and view Globalization os the economic version of Islamo-Fascism.
Although Obama is right on this, he will do nothing about it. He’s just discussing this to get elected. He’s a Transnational Progressive and doesn’t believe in American Sovereignty. Once in office he will continue with this Globalization crap. Hopefully the Republicans will wake up and become anti-Globalists. If they did this, they would crush the Democrats.

It is ridiculous to say this as globalization is helping developing countries to come under the race of developed countries. There is no issue of weakening any section rather it is strengthening.

It’s called Social Media Marketing. Muslims Against Shariah is an example of doing it well. WideCircles, the company these guys work for, is not. I’m not sure how most SMM works, but WideCircles pays its “publishers” on a per post basis, which results in things like this. The overwhelming majority of the “publishers” seem to be from India.

I agree it’s called Social Media Marketing. Muslims Against Shariah is an example of doing it well. WideCircles, the company these guys work for, is not. The internet has really taken off in the 21st century. The overwhelming majority of the “publishers” seem to be from India.
