The News Rappers, now well known for their one and only novelty “News Rap” record “Kill Bill O’Reilly,” have decided to go after primarily Michelle Malkin in another song. This is harassment if I ever saw it. Either they weren’t content with the brief reference to Malkin in their FoxNews song, or they realized that attacking her boosted their popularity more than they had expected. You know what they say, all publicity is good publicity.
Anyway, here’s the latest from The News Rappers: “Dear Michelle”
Warning this song is offensive, hateful and contain explicit lyrics.
This is really bad. But, as we’ve learned from the far Right’s use of media, it’s best to keep track of what these lunatics are saying.
Here are the lyrics:
Dear Michelle (In Response Malkin & Friends)
(Verse 1- Esoteric)
Michelle Malkin, tell your story walkin’
Hypocritical and ignorant, by your belief system your
fingerprints shouldn’t be within a single inch of U.S. soil
Your own parents are immigrants, now who is loyal?
Just think it over while defending our pursuit for oil
Play patriotic while our soldiers and our troopers boil
Spoils of the Dead, Robert Frost said it best
I’d love to see at that “Hot Air” just put to death
Michelle girl, I don’t wanna confuse you
I KNOW you’re off O’Reilly’s show, that don’t excuse you
From being a conservative, neo-nazi-hack of a journalist
That’s wrong all the time and don’t deserve to live
There’s no alternative…actually there might be
Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter – equally demented psyches
Maybe Hannity and Savage are the key to this-
The Tennessee gunman had their rubbish on his reading list
Michelle Malkin got a jaw that would maul her own kin
She’s appalled at her own skin, a witch with cauldron
Tellin’ me to “dis hoes” instead of her yall
That’s like saying let’s “shoot hoops” instead of “basketball”
The same thing, but the insane thing
Is that she’s anti-Obama, rather hear John Wayne McCain sing
Malkin’s a bitch, that ain’t degrading to girls-
That’s degrading to female dogs across the world
“Don’t you have bling to steal?” That’s so stereotypical
Get me on the television I’ll be Jeremy Glick’ing you
Jesse Malkin homie must be terribly miserable
Every second or minute you have to put up with this imbecile
I’m a freethinker girl, you’re a lying lepar
Crying with a 9-year-old’s temper
Adjusting your beliefs to cater to your agenda
We both members of this prison right? But I’m an East Coast Avenger
Myspace, Newscorp, Fox try to silence me
They can’t handle “the Truth” like Kobe Bryant’s d
They went and censored the O’Reilly song
Like First Amendment- say good-bye it’s gone but, fuckers I am strong!
Death threats, dog? the line is long
Right wingers give ‘em to us with the lies they spawn
E.C.A.- we expose all the hate and bigotry
By giving yall a taste of the shit that sickens me(Verse 2- Trademarc)
Michelle Malkin, where the fuck should I start?
You no-heart-having, half-tranny, drag-queen looking manly
Does that seem a little too shallow? I’ll go deeper
You’re truth’s grim reaper, killing the facts
You know your audience of right-wings won’t pick up the slack
And your views on rap are stereotypical black-on-black crime
So stunningly blind, assuming I beat women and did time
When all of my rhymes are so politically driven they’d lose you
Fox used you, posed you as a media outlet from the out-set
Your views on Japanese internment are funny
The same thing Hitler did to Jews but you spun it into positive news
And you call me facist? While your pro-racial profiling masses is classic
That’s right wing magic, taking the tragic
And wrapping it in stars-n-stripes so our civil rights are stripped overnight
I’m an addict of combatitive movements, revolution based on evolution
Masks and automatics with radical fanatics, who want change
Sometimes you gotta rearrange the whole infrastructure
Dust your weapons off, I ain’t stoppin once I’m checkin off
You and Bill O right? Go ahead, read the Bill of Rights
I’ll be reading Bill O’s rights with victims of the Fourth Reich
You goose-stepping through the streets with huge weapons
With acts of aggression upon the 3rd World
They shit on all the wounded veterans, that’s not right
How the fuck do you sleep at night?
Oh I forgot, your Rhodes Scholar stay-at-home husband ghostwrites
All your blogs and letters to fans
I bet he’s kicking himself for not making you a one-night stand
I bet he’s thinking like “Stan,” a murder/suicide last ride with a knife in a van(Outro- Esoteric)
Glenn Beck, hit the deck, you should think it through
Sean Hannity you really need to think it through
Michael Savage dog, you better think it through
Ann Coulter listen up you should think it through
Rush Limbaugh please just think it through
Laura Ingraham needs to think it through
Everyone of yall think it through
Or the next rhyme I write might be about YOU!Malkin: “I think calling people what they are is actually a good thing” (dogs barking in background)

Awww… I noticed you didn’t credit me with informing you about the very existance of this song. Thats poor investigative journalism… and you couldn’t even muster a response to my comment on your previous post regarding this topic.
You seem content to wallow in your own ignorance on this matter. But the longer you remain completely uninformed on this subject and continue to rely solely on your previous bias, and social stereotypes, the more ridiculous you look with each post.
Are you sure they aren’t Reich wing plants?
Ain’t free speech grand? It allows you to discover just how idiotic some people are.
Hey, dumbass, do you know what a hat tip (H/T) is?
If freespeech wasn’t a dumbass you think they would have been flinging the crap they have been so far?
Wait I’m sorry this song is really deep and meaningful and makes a positive contribution to political discourse in our society kind of the same way the last time I used the toilet did.
FreeSpeech just so you know you are the funniest troll the internets have right now, it might be unintentional but it’s a good start.
Hey melo you don’t have to worry about Freedom of speech teaching you anything, FOX had the song removed from myspace in a feeble attempt at censorship. Don’t worry though your buddies like DJ Konservo will make sure the song gets out and gets plenty of attention.
In case you didn’t notice, Konservo, myself, and others who comment here regularly are actually very much in favor of freedom of speech. What FOX did was attempt to protect its brand. It did not interfere with the idiots’ freedom of speech as others, like Konservo, have posted the songs so that people can hear them and make up their own minds.
“FreeSpeech just so you know you are the funniest troll the internets have right now, it might be unintentional but it’s a good start.”
Oh, he is not even close. I wouldn’t even classify him as a troll, he’s just someone who disagrees.
Now this is a troll.
“letterstoadyingdream”, you sound “butt hurt” as you so eliquently put it in the last post. Here: 1) Go back to school, 2) then try to articulate an opinion
Long live Rapture Ralph!
Sergei I don’t know what that was but it looked funny as hell I’ll have to go through it latter.
FreeSpeech Question I had one. Answer you still don’t, but your anger is kinda cute.
Free Speech,
I didn’t post this to promote the group, however, I do recognize that anything posted on them will only help to get their name out to the public. Okay, fine. The reason I posted this is explained above:
This is really bad. But, as we’ve learned from the far Right’s use of media, it’s best to keep track of what these lunatics are saying.
It’s the same reason I posted links to Hizbullah in Iraq’s Youtube channel and the same reason I posted Tony Zirkle’s speech to ANSWP on Hitler’s 116th Birthday.
If that’s the group your buddies The News Rappers want to be associated with, fine, but I promise you, I’m not doing them any favors.
“Sergei I don’t know what that was but it looked funny as hell I’ll have to go through it latter.”
Ralph is one of the trolls who graces News Hounds with his rantings.
“letterstoadyingdream” Here’s your answer since you can’t seem to figure anything out on your own
“We gotta get ‘em, get ‘em.
We gotta chill ‘em, chill e’m.
We gotta get ‘em, get ‘em.
We gotta kill ‘em, kill ‘em.”
Is part of a hip hop song. It is an expression of opinion – in a song. Is the movie “Kill Bill” inciting murder? Put a 24 hour police watch on David Carradine! Bill O’Reilly is a public figure. This isn’t some domestic violence case. Its freedom of speech live with it.
FreeSpeech,
This is no laughing matter. Did you click the link above that says “the far Right’s use of media” ?
If not, here you go.
It’s not that I’m against freedom of expression, it’s just that these things are serious and should not be dismissed as merely “an opinion.” Especially when the song is that explicit.
“It is an expression of opinion”
And that opinion is that Bill O’Reilly and Michelle Malkin should be killed.
[...] Weird “News” Rappers’ Lyrics Talk About Killing Bill O’Reilly and Michelle Malkin? UPDATE – Aug 22 – The “News Rappers” Respond [...]
Konservo I understand that there are horrendous things going on in the world. And it looks like some nut job got a radio show and incited a murder. That is indeed terrible. Esoteric and The East Coast Avengers and RAPPERS. They have been around for 10+ years. They are not neo-nazis, they are not killers, they do not affiliate with any of these groups. This is a song. I don’t believe it will randomly incite some helpless bystander to go kill Bill O’Reilly when they hear it, nor is it meant to do that. The real message is in the verses and the lyrics that are going completely unrecognized in this discussion. That is where they lay out their problems with O’Reilly, Malkin, ect… Like I said you can focus on the title and the corus, which obviously has the shock value but you’re missing the point. Overreacting to some harmless rappers’ song is not the same as your link.
And that opinion is that Bill O’Reilly and Michelle Malkin should be killed.
You can look at it like that, but in the context of a rap song and in the context of the rest of the lyrics I believe it is obviously figuratively and not literally. This is not a speech by a politician. This is art. Whether you recognize it as art or not is debatable, but that is its intention and it should be viewed in the intent of the artists. They also say Bill O’reilly’s talk show can “rot.” Do they mean literally a talk show can rot? Or is that figurative. Obviously a “talk show” is not an entity that can “rot.” Everyone just take an informed look at it and ignore all the hysteria and opinions for a moment
The thing is, FreeSpeech, it seems that there was a general under-reaction to the situation that I linked to. In fact, it’s unbelievable that some guy can go spouting off about how he incited the murder of a politician,is completely unrepentant, if not emboldened by it, and he’s getting less attention than McCain’s forgetting how many houses he owns.
Expressing political opinion is one thing, but in America, I’d like to see debate without the casual death threat which I’m supposed to understand metaphorically. Because, I know there are people who may not be as mentally together as you or me and they will take these lyrics literally. When that happens it’s out of the band’s hands and a “harmless” song could very well push someone over the edge.
“it should be viewed in the intent of the artists.”
“Death threats, dog? the line is long
Right wingers give ‘em to us with the lies they spawn
E.C.A.- we expose all the hate and bigotry
By giving yall a taste of the shit that sickens me”
They don’t seem to have a problem with it being understood as a death threat.
Sergei
He’s saying that HE recieves death threats
“Right wingers give ‘em to us with the lies they spawn”
And he goes on to talk about “giving yall a taste of the shit that sickens me”.
Also, you still haven’t responded to the point I raised about Ann Coulter advocating the assassination of a judge.
The movie was a story about people who don’t exist so saying that “kill Bill” is advocating the murder of the actor that played Bill is moronic. It’s a movie about fake people it’s not real life and has nothing to do with this conversation. However writing a song about killing someone who does exist it is a bit different.
a “harmless” song could very well push someone over the edge.
I can see that I suppose. Just as much as a video game portraying realistic murder could push an unstable person over the edge. So what do we censor and what do we not? Horror movies portraying realistic torture? What about the Saw movies? Documentaries portraying death? What about books enciting hate? Songs? Do you really want to control what freedom is? Control society’s outlets?
This song is obviously about killing people. Sure, they might have a bone to pick too, but let’s not kid ourselves about what they’re saying.
And he goes on to talk about “giving yall a taste of the shit that sickens me”.
He says:
“we expose all the hate and bigotry
By giving yall a taste of the shit that sickens me”
thats a summary of the song at the end of his verse
“I can see that I suppose.”
If you follow the news, you already have. Remember the Tennessee church shootings?
I’m generally against censorship. That’s why I posted this before it was removed from Myspace. But, as far as controlling media outlets, I think that the UN should have interfered with RTLM and Radio Rwanda. I also think that personal death threats should be taken seriously even if they’re just part of a song, but I don’t think that the song should be censored.
Also, you still haven’t responded to the point I raised about Ann Coulter advocating the assassination of a judge.
Was it a song? Was she figuratively talking about killing a judge in lyrics? If Esoteric called a news conference, or had a radio show or a news column somewhere and said ‘I am calling for the assassination of Bill O’Reilly!’ thats one thing. This is another. I probably can’t convince you of this without all of us being informed on the same level about Esoteric’s past work, rap lyrics in general, ect… I think this basically boils down to a misunderstanding. This is hip hop. It is a sub-culture of its own. In the world of Anne Coulter “Kill Bill O’Reilly” is a death threat. In the world of hip hop lyric writing it has a different context.
Go to 7L & Esoteric’s myspace page. These are not militant assassins raising an army. He has a Myspace page for his dog for God’s sake! Just get informed before you decide what they “mean” in the song
It seems that this song is, in part, a response to that:
I’m sure that Hal Turner loves his dog too, but that’s hardly an excuse.
I’m sure that Hal Turner loves his dog too, but that’s hardly an excuse.
Just go to the page. Look up Pterovision on Youtube. These are regular guys with political opinions. Just because their expression is in poor taste doesn’t make them monsters. My main problem with this whole issue is that Myspace is supposed to be a free social network and they can put up with Al Qaeda supporters and white supremacists but censor a song about Bill O’Reilly. I don’t buy that FOX is merely protecting its interests either. They are controlling free speech in an arena where they hold the power simply because they disagree with it. I personally see this as the type of behavior that is wrong with the mainstream right wing movement.

And that is the point:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banality_of_evil
http://www.iep.utm.edu/a/arendt.htm#H6
Ok, well if you think a couple of mildly successful underground rappers from Boston are gonna invoke mass murder or usher in another Holocaust then whatever… You’ve already got your mind made up. Thats the problem. I’m just on here to give my thoughts and represent an educated, contrary opinion.
The point of Hannah Arendt’s “banality of evil” thesis is that it’s not monsters who commit these evil acts. The capacity for evil is in all of us. This was also studied by Zimbardo and Milgram.
“If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?”
- Alexander Solzhenitsyn
OK so the fact that they are “normal” doesn’t remove their human nature, or capacity for evil… I’m just showing you who they are because your information regarding them seemed limited at best in your previous post. Everything you said in your original posts was pure assumption and uninformed speculation:
“I know these “News Rappers” are just trying to make a buck”
“since they aren’t very talented they need a gimmick”
Thats not exactly an unbiased expose showing the danger of this song.
That was my critique of the song itself. I like early 90s stuff like Tupac, Nas, and Mobb Deep. Incidentally, this song samples Mobb Deep’s “Thug Muzik”
(4:21 – 4:26)
Now take these words home and think it through
For the next rhyme we write might be about you
You should pick up 7L & Esoteric’s “Soul Purpose” and “Dangerous Connection” classic 90s type stuff.
[...] rappers” who included her in their “Kill Bill O’Reilly” and “Dear Michelle” songs, and now Alex Jones, in the video below, and his minions try to act as judges, jury [...]
Uh, they are goooooood rappers and nobody is dumb enuff to go kill anybody b/c of a song…If thatz the case then let’s ban the new Wanted, Death Race, Dark Knight, Vin Diesel, etc and all my 80s, 90s MetalCore songs that promoted death and drugs…go ECA…FOX News has an admitted Racist Ex Cop and the guy who facilitated the Crack Years working for them and nobody says crap, some kids ask some provocative questions in an artistic way and some of you wanna throw out the Constitution with the bath water…
“I’m an addict of combatitive movements, revolution based on evolution
Masks and automatics with radical fanatics, who want change
Sometimes you gotta rearrange the whole infrastructure
Dust your weapons off, I ain’t stoppin once I’m checkin off”
Did you ever think that the combatitive movements might be defined as his artwork? His opinion? His words? The weapons are the words, the weapons are the opinions…
