Nick Griffin on Question Time

Nick Griffin and the BNP have been enjoying more popularity these days. Griffin was recently on BBC’s Question Time, have a gander:

You Got It All Wrong…

Several news outlets are reporting that there is outrage over Nick Griffin’s statements comparing retired generals to Nazi war criminals:

He said: “Along with the political leadership of Nazi Germany, the chiefs of staff of the German army, Alfred Jodl and Wilhelm Keitel, were also charged with waging aggressive war.

“Sir Richard and Sir Mike fall squarely into this bracket and they must not think that they will escape culpability for pursuing the illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

The officers to whom Griffin refers had criticized the leader of the BNP for his use of military imagery in political campaigns. The response to the comments:

ANSWP Leader Bill White Arrested in Virginia

The American National Socialist Workers’ Party’s “Commander,” Bill White, has been arrested in south-western Virginia on charges stemming from an incident in 2004:

William “Bill” White, the leader of the neo-Nazi American National Socialist Workers Party (ANSWP), was arrested last Friday in Roanoke, VA on a Chicago warrant that accuses him of threatening the jury foreman of the 2004 Matthew Hale trial. Matt Hale, the former leader of the white supremacist group World Church of the Creator, is currently serving a 40-year prison term for soliciting the murder of a federal court judge.

White is scheduled to appear in federal court in Roanoke today (October 23). A court date in Chicago has not yet been determined.

I don’t know if closing down the ANSWP website was justified. It’s my view that, as long as no violence or criminal acts are advocated, freedom of speech should be defended even if we find that speech disgusting and ignorant (e.g. 9/11 Troofers). However, I don’t know the extent of the doubtlessly racist and hateful writing on the ANSWP site, so closing it may have been the best thing to do.

What’s Up With Franco-Anglo Neo-Fascism

I’ve mentioned the European crypto-/overtly-fascist parties, the British National Party BNP and the (French) Front National FN, in the past. And I’ve remarked that, while some don’t see these groups as acting irrational or extreme, I do. I believe that they use fear mongering to rally up “national” support (and we’re talking about White Nationalism here). These parties are racist and incompatible with the 21st century international community.

So what are these fascists, racists and bigots up to now: (more…)

MPACUK: One Step Away From Making Takfir

Every time I check in to see what our good buddies at MPACUK are up to I find more borderline extremist rhetoric. For example, in this rant the MPACUK radicals accuse Muslim authorities in Britain of failing to live up to their duties as Muslims. The proof that this is the case? Well, because Islam does not dominate all of Britain of course! How else could an Islamophobe be elected? Yes, MPACUK seems to be just about ready to pronounce Muslim authorities kuffar and subject them to the treatment of apostates:

Boris Johnson called Islam “the problem” and has now been elected Mayor of London. Islam is not the problem. Boris Johnson is not the problem. Our Muslim leaders ARE the problem.

MPACUK: You’re Either With Us, Or You’re With The BNP

I guess the insane Brothers over at MPACUK have more in common with GWB than they thought:

The BNP gained a major victory, winning power with its first ever seat on the 25 member London Assembly by the narrowest of margins – just 0.3% – that’s approximately 6,500 votes. Every single Muslim who did not vote against the BNP is responsible for the fact that this racist Islamophobic party has now gained power over the lives of nearly 1 million Muslims in London. Islamophobia Watch Raises Concerns

Yes. I know. “Islamophobia Watch” is supposed to be my ideological enemy. However, I don’t always think how I’m “supposed” to think.

I feel that some legitimate concerns are raised is the following article. In fact, I have raised similar concerns myself in my meanderings in these interwebs.

Anyway, here’s the (rather long, ‘cuz I know most of you won’t click the link) excerpt:
